Unless otherwise noted, all available horses are located in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Please call/text/email me with any questions or if you would like to meet one of the horses we have available. For animals that require an adoption application, please reach out to me for the animal's full tag number before filling out the application.

ECHO - 12 Year Old Mustang Mare - $1,500
Echo is a 12-year-old, 15hh paint mare from South Steens HMA in Oregon. She was captured in September of 2022.
I adopted Echo in May of 2024 as a reassignment project! Due to other obligations, I didn't start the gentling process until September 2024. Echo gives off "dominant mare" vibes, and I expected the gentling process to be difficult because of that, and she proved me wrong! She is very smart and confident, and will tell you what she likes and doesn't like.. well to my surprise it turns out she likes scratches!! At first, she wasn't sure of me and wanted to push me around a bit, but once she realized I wasn't going to allow her to push me around, but I also wasn't going to hurt her, she decided maybe I was not so bad. She will make someone a heck of a horse with her gorgeous build and movement. Echo is on track to finish her gentling process in mid-November of 2024, and is looking for a new home! In addition to traditional gentling requirements, Echo also stands tied, has been given baths, and is respectful of electric fences!

Echo will require an approved BLM application. Because she is gentle, the requirements are not as strict as they are with a fresh Mustang. Echo has been documented her entire life by photographers and wild horse advocates. I’ve included pictures below from photographers who’ve documented her life! It is so cool to see the pictures of her at a couple of days old in May 2012, pictures throughout her life until her roundup in September 2022, and finally seeing her now!

More GO than WOAH. Soft with lots of buttons. Roughly 15.1 hands. Rides in a bosal, snaffle, or bridle. She has been overnight camping, roped off of, barrel raced (won many checks and buckles), sorted off of (money earner), used her to help gentle mustangs and start colts, taken over a few jumps, trail ridden all over, taken over 100’s of obstacles, ridden double, ridden bridleless, placed top 5 in local cutting, boxing, ranch and roping, been in parades, you name it, I’ve probably tried it on her. I’ve had her since she was a yearling, PPE is welcome.
